Description
This unusual celluloid purse has a frame made in the shape of a greyhound. The use of greyhounds was common in the 1920s as car mascots. Here it has been used as a theme for a purse. The bag is beautiful replacement that fits stylistically with the purse. This is a great piece from the collection of Lori Blaser, co-author of A Passion for Purses, 1600-2005.
Size: 9.5 inches wide, 5.75 inches tall (frame); 10.75 inches wide, 11.75 inches tall (whole purse).
Value: 8 out of 10, with 10 being the most expensive.
