Description

The beauty of cranes and their spectacular mating dances have made them highly symbolic birds in many cultures. Crane mythology  can be found in areas such as the Greece, South Arabia, China, Korea, Japan and the Native American cultures of North America. In Asian cultures cranes are symbolic of long life and are usually paired in art with other symbols of longevity: pine trees, bamboo and tortoises. This purse features two cranes along with another favorite Asian image – irises.
