Once in a very great while you come across a celluloid purse that is extraordinary. This purse owned by Lori Rose Blaser is one of those finds. This beauty just defies description, but I’ll give it a try. First, this is the only celluloid purse I have ever seen with a depiction of knight and lady – perhaps Lancelot and Guinevere? The amazing detail in the celluloid frame has such sensitivity around the expressions. This fabulous frame is complemented by the beautiful needlework. Showcasing a variety of stitches and carefully applied beadwork – this piece is amazing!
Value: Incalculable. It is off the scale.
