Description
This unusual celluloid purse frame features either a satyr or the devil. Highly influenced by the Art Nouveau movement with the various curled clouds and horns. Devils, satyrs, green men and other grotesque-faced characters were popular during the Art Nouveau period and this purse reflects that. This is another great piece from Australian celluloid purse collectors Mike and Lizzie.
Value: 5 out of 10, with 10 being the most expensive.
